Dismantling and transportation of a heat treatment plant
Elaborately, but reliable and secure.
A heat treatment plant was split into five elements, loaded and reliably transported to its new location.

The mission
The furnace plant consisted of 5 individual elements with the following dimensions:
- Section 1
Depth: 160 cm; height: 370 cm; width: 220 cm; weight: about 3.5 tons - Section 2
Depth: 335 cm; height: 370 cm; width: 250 cm; weight: about 10 tons - Section 3
Depth: 210 cm; height: 370 cm; width: 250 cm; weight: about 10 tons - Section 4
Depth: 255 cm; height: 352 cm; width: 210 cm; weight: about 15 tons - Section 5
Depth: 190 cm; height: 357 cm; width: 440 cm; weight: about 22 tons
Furthermore, components mounted on wheels had to be moved professionally:
- Tempering furnace
Length: 570 cm; height: 315 cm (max., due to the door frame); width: 140 cm; weight: about 8 tons - Cooling tunnel
Length: 550 cm; width: 120 cm; height: 230 cm; weight: 2.3 tons - Gas chimney
Weight: 0.3 tons
Dismantling impressions
Because the furnace could not be lifted out of the hall from outside with a suitable crane, the elements had to be moved out of the hall one by one with a mobile crane.
- Electric control cabinet
For installation reasons, the control cabinet system (length: 740 cm; height: 247 cm; width: 80 cm; weight: about 2 tons) had to be transported in one piece. - 2 gas tanks
Gas tank 1: diameter 140 cm, height 335 cm; gas tank 2: diameter 120 cm, height 335 cm - 1 helium compressor
Length: 260 cm; height: 120 cm; width: 140 cm; weight: about 1 ton - 1 gas cleaner
Height: 440 cm; diameter: 60 cm; weight: 0.5 tons - 1 buffer station

To make optimum use of the space on our trucks, we suitably loaded individual parts such as pipe sections, cable duct covers and steel supports.
